Hi, friends! It’s me once again, Tibu. I met some of you at the Mumbai Comic Con on December 22 and 23, 2018. I was at stall #112. Do you guys remember me? My creator, Nikhil Salvi, was there along with our awesome team. Many (so many) of you bought my first comic book, personally signed by Mr. Salvi.
Do you remember the team in white tees and blue jeans? Did you see me hanging down from stall to greet you all? Remember our combo of bags, posters, doodle pads, comic book and more? I bet you do. By the way, for those of you who don’t know what a Comic Con is, it’s a fun place where comic book fans meet and talk to one other. There were so many games to play, so many people to meet, and so much to eat. It was such a thrill!
I made some amazing friends at the Mumbai Comic Con. I felt like a true superstar – my fans would be asking for my autograph any day now! So many people complimented my creator for the adorable character I am. However, I didn’t like some of those we met. There were people who asked why Tibu was a girl and not a boy. What kind of a question is that? It’s 2019, for God’s sake! It’s a pity to see that even in comics people still prefer a boy character to a girl. Let me tell you this caveman, I’m a girl and I’m just as special as any boy in the world. Maybe, even more so!
However, I want to focus on the nicer things that happened. My first ever comic book was launched! Yay! This means that now onwards, I will be able to share a more complete story of my life. It’s about when I was helping my Pa to wash the car and fell asleep inside the car. Read the entire comic book if you want to know what happened after that. Ping me on Instagram to get your own copy.
Friends, thank you for making my day so special at Comic Con, Mumbai. Do continue to catch up with me in the future as well. Love you all!
